Beth Brown

Pet Sitters Plus was established in 2012 by Elizabeth (Beth) Brown.

I have dreamed of owning and operating a pet care business since I was a child. I was born and raised in the wonderful hills of wild and wonderful WEST Virginia. I attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated in 1995 with a BS degree in Sociology and Anthropology and a minor in Education.

After graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan College, I was off to Walt Disney World. I went to work for Tri-Circle D Ranch where I worked with ponies, horses, goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and calves and received wonderful training in taking care of animals and serving the public.

Over the years of have owned and cared for many pets: a Bichion Frise, American Quarter Horse, cats, English Bull dogs, Grate Danes, Saint Bernard, Arabian Pinto and a Tennessee Walker. It was always very difficult to find care givers when I needed to leave town. I will always remember my first pet Snoopy, a Bichion Frise. When we traveled and could not take him, we always had someone stay with him at our home. There was one trip we had to put him in a kennel and he was never the same. This just reinforces my belief that pets need to stay in their own homes when they need to be left behind. Pet Sitters Plus provides that service and more.

After going through a divorce in, 2012, I moved from Wyoming to Vero Beach and began sitting for neighbors. That is when I realized I could do this professionally as a business. I researched the Pet Sitting Business and became affiliated with Pet Sitters International. Thus, the beginning of Pet Sitters Plus LLC. Through word of mouth, my business has grown in 5 years to working with over 200 pet families. I am continuing to grow and loving every minute. Because of my growth, I have team members who assist me in the sitting assignments.

Teddy Bear, my Pompoo, is my #1 team member. I acquired him in 2012 and he has been my companion during all my ups and downs with the divorce and growing of my company. He is my child and my parents #1 grand dog. Sometimes Teddy works with me as he is very good with other dogs.

Vice President and Pet Relationship Director

Hello! I am Teddy Bear Brown, the Vice President and the Pet Relationship Director. I am a Pom-A-Poo (Pomeranian and a Poodle a specialty breed). I have been working with my mom, Elizabeth Brown, since 2012.

I have attended Petco’s Puppy Play sections and Basic Dog Training. I have gone to Paw Prints for Small Dog Day Care, Puppy Kindergarten, and Beyond Puppy Classes.

I have had Best Behavior Dog Training by Cissy Sumner and participated in Agility classes. I love doing the agility classes!

I hope to continue my education and get my Good Citizen Certification and Service Dog Certification.
Mom and I have been a great team working with elderly, young, big and small dogs. I know I have to be a gentleman when I go to a pet customer’s home.

Because of my arrival to several clients’ houses, several older dogs have become more energized and less depressed. With younger dogs, I have encouraged them to join in play that gives them the exercise they need. If I am permitted to accompany my Mom your pets will be getting basic socialization skills.
